Sounds funny but it really works.

The memories of the xbox 360 are sucks, it needs a “foot” to continue working. The “foot” is an eraser, you will need to cut it in 4 lite piece and a glue baton to fix the eraser.

So your router and Xbox 360 are on completely opposite sides of your home, running a long, ugly wire along the floor is out of the question, and you don’t feel like dropping $100 on an Xbox Wi-Fi adapter? If you’ve got a laptop with Wi-Fi, Instructables details how to use it as an Xbox 360 wireless adapter. In all its a really simple process involving sharing your laptop’s wireless internet connection with your Xbox through an ethernet cable. It’s not as good as a wired connection, but if you don’t regularly rely on the connection, it’s a good workaround. If you want a slightly more permanent solution, you can also build an Xbox Wi-Fi adapter on the cheap. Thanks Graham!

New Nyko intercoller for 360

Hopefully the days of the RRoD are behind us … but just in case, Nyko has introduced its new Intercooler TS today. Unlike the old Intercooler, this new model has its own AC adapter and has a temperature sensor which activates when there’s rapid change, rather than just being perpetually on and using the Xbox 360’s power port. It retails for $25, and the original Intercooler will still be available for $20.

Nyko tells us that the Intercooler is still its top selling product — well, technically it said it’s the top selling third party product — for the Xbox 360. Nyko has also released the Intercooler for PS3, but we’re not exactly aware of overheating PS3s. The Wii version has been discontinued.

First Picture of Xbox 360 ‘Opus’ Motherboard

Electric Tuner over at the xbox-underground.net forums posted what seems to be the first picture of the Xbox360 ‘Opus’ Motherboard.
The ‘Opus’ is a ‘Falcon’ generation motherboard designed to fit in a Xenon case. So that means a 90nm GPU, a 65nm CPU and no HDMI port. Microsoft will probably mostly use these boards to return to people suffering from the RRoD on Xenon boards.
That seems to match the with the picture below … it has no HDMI port and while we cannot see the CPU/GPU chips it uses the new CPU heatsink and has less inductors next to the CPU which indicates it uses the 65nm chip.
Also notice how this Opus board has the HANA scaler/video chip (like the zephyr/falcon boards) … so it’s maybe not impossible to hack your own native HDMI port to these motherboards.

Team Xecuter’s 360 RROD Fix

5) Remove motherboard from metal casing
A) Gently pull it out, be sure not to accidentally break any capacitors

6) Flip Motherboard Over
A) If your motherboard has white pads on the ram chips remove them, if not skip this step
B) Place Rubber Pads on the Ram chips

12) Re-assemble full case

13) If you have the RROD turn your xbox on and let it sit for 20 minutes to let the solder re-flow, after the 20 minutes has elapsed turn xbox off and let cool for 1 hour, If you don’t have RROD skip this step

14) Resume normal gaming
